Tomah Middle School: Health Teacher

The Tomah Area School District has the following vacancy beginning in the 2024-2025 school year:
 
            Middle School Health Teacher (Grades 6-8)
Tomah Middle School is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community.  This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in the Health. This is a full-time position starting with the 2024-25 school year.  Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available. 
 
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated knowledge of:
 
1)  RtI and PBIS,
2)  Professional Learning Communities,
3)  Differentiated Instruction,
4)  Ability to enhance learning and student engagement through interactive use of technology, and
5)  Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for Health.
 
Qualifications:  Must have, or be eligible for, a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued #1910 (Health) license.  Preference will be given to candidates with a #1530 (Physical Education) license.  Must be licensed to teach grades 6-8.
