The Tomah Area School District has the following long-term substitute teaching vacancy beginning on or about September 3, 2024, for up to twelve (12) weeks:

            Long-Term Substitute Teacher:
            2nd Grade Teacher – Camp Douglas Elementary

The Tomah Area School District is accepting applications for a long-term substitute second grade teacher beginning on or about September 3, 2024, for up to twelve (12) weeks.        
 
Camp Douglas Elementary is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community.  This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in: 1) RtI and PBIS, 2) Professional Learning Communities, and 3) Differentiated Instruction.
 
This position is a temporary position.  Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available. 
 
Preference will be given to candidates with a reading license and demonstrated knowledge of: 
 

  1.  Foundational Reading Standards,
  2.  Ready Math,
  3.  Systematic and Explicit Teaching Methods.
 
Qualifications:  Must have, or be eligible for, a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued Regular Education (1777) (70), (71) or (72), or Elementary/Middle Level Education (1088, 1083) license.  Must be licensed to teach 2nd grade.
