The Tomah Area School District has the following teaching vacancy beginning immediately:        
                                     
            5th Grade Teacher - Lemonweir Elementary
The Tomah School District is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community.  This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in: 1) RtI and PBIS, 2) Professional Learning Communities, and 3) Differentiated Instruction.
 
Preference will be given to candidates with a reading license and demonstrated knowledge of:
 

  1.  Foundational Reading Standards,
  2.  Ready Math,
  3.  Educational Technology,
  4.  Systematic and Explicit Teaching Methods.
 
This is a full-time position that will follow a 45-15 calendar for the 2023-24 school year.  Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available.
 
Qualifications:  Must have, or be eligible for, a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued Regular Education (1777) (71), (72), or Elementary/Middle Level Education (1088, 1083) license.  Must be licensed to teach 5th grade.
