QUALIFICATIONS:  This person must be able to do general custodial work which includes:  cleaning classrooms, rest rooms, specialized areas and offices.  Must be able to operate commercial floor cleaning equipment and snow blowing equipment. This person must be able to work independently or as a team cleaning specialist. Must have general knowledge of tools, equipment and supplies needed for maintenance of a school building.  The ability to follow written and spoken instructions is required.  Must possess interpersonal skills to deal courteously, cooperatively and effectively with students, co-workers, teachers, administrators and the public. This position requires a high school graduate or equivalent.  Must successfully pass the District's Custodial Test. 
 
COMPENSATION:  Wage will be in compliance with the employee handbook for the time worked.  Work schedule will be from Monday-Friday, Full-Time, 12 month position, Afternoon and Evening hours.
 
DUTIES:  Duties include cleaning per the procedures established, clearing snow from entrances, and any other custodial duties requested during your scheduled work hours.  Checking plumbing, heating and electrical equipment is also required.  Will provide support for District extracurricular activities as needed.  Custodians report to the Custodial Supervisor.
