Walking Stick Workshop

Do you enjoy using a hiking stick while hiking? Now you can make your own! Join the Friends of Sandhill to decorate provided natural hardwood sticks using wood burners, paints, feathers, beads, and much more. This intergenerational activity is great for the whole family, and all are welcome. Young participants under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Meet in the Sandhill Outdoor Skills Center. There are 2 sessions for this event on Sat, June 10, 2023. One session is from 8:30am to 12:00pm and one session is from 1:00pm to 4:30pm. Class is limited to 8 participants per class. Preregistration is required before June 6th along with a $5 registration fee per person. Late registration fee is $10.
