We are doing our best to Keep ‘er “Merry and Bright” and we invite you to help us light up this holiday season with Tomah’s annual Holiday Parade! To kick-off the holiday season, Tomah’s Holiday Parade will be held on Friday, November 27th at 7 PM. We are excited to bring the community together in, yet again, a "different way" this year!
To allow for social distancing, we have come up with an alternative, “reversed” Parade route with stationary floats and spectators who drive by. This event will also coincide with the annual light display, organized by Tomah Holiday Lights, at Winnebago Park.
Parade Entries:
The Parade line-up will be on a first-come, first-served basis; we will not be assigning line-up numbers this year.
Parade line-up will begin at the Recreation Park (the "Tractor Pull Pit" area) entrance; parade units can enter route off of County Highway CM. Volunteers will guide you to parking.
If multiple Parade entries are part of your unit, you must arrive together; no “holding” spots are permitted.
Parade units only should enter Recreation Park; non-parade units should park on side streets, where available.
We will be limiting the total number of Parade entries to 50 units this year.
We encourage parade entries to decorate your floats (the theme is “Keep ‘er Merry & Bright!”).
Register your float/unit by 12 PM on Monday, November 23rd.
Parade Spectators:
Spectators must remain in your vehicle at all times.
Spectators must enter the Parade route through Grassman Street and follow the guided traffic flows.
Spectators will exit the Parade route on County Highway CM and are encouraged to visit the Tomah Holiday Lights at Winnebago Park. Don’t forget your donation to the Neighbor for Neighbor Food Pantry!
