Public history program Thursday, April 24: “Wisconsin for Kennedy: The Primary that Launched a President and Changed the Course of History,” by author BJ Hollars, UW-Eau Claire English Professor.
B.J. Hollars will bring to life the stories behind JFK’s history-making 1960 Wisconsin primary campaign, which included stops in Tomah and Sparta. Please note that to provide more seating space, this program will not be held at the Local History Room but nearby at the Sparta United Methodist Church, 210 N. Court St. Parking available in Museum/Monroe County Parking Lot off Central Ave. Free admission but a $1 donation to offset programming costs is always appreciated.
