POSTPONED - Fort McCoy Armed Forces Day Open House 2025

Update: 5/2/2025 - 2025 FORT MCCOY ARMED FORCES DAY OPEN HOUSE POSTPONED: Due to current staffing shortages and the Highway 21 road construction project, the decision has been made to postpone the Fort McCoy Armed Forces Day Open House until later this year.

A rescheduled date has not been determined at this time.

The Fort McCoy Armed Forces Day Open House event will not be held on May 17.

Come celebrate Armed Forces Day with a walk through our History Center, Equipment Park, the Veteran’s Memorial Plaza, and five World War II Barracks.  Lots of booths and activities for the kids!

The open house is free and family-friendly!

***Guests must enter the installation through Gate 20 along Hwy 21 between Sparta and Tomah, WI.  Signs will be setup along Hwy 21 directing traffic to the event.  Adult guests must be prepared to show ID and proof of vehicle insurance to enter the base.***
